Joseph W. Jones, Sr. Owner/Funeral Director & Embalmer

Joseph is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Georgia. He is a native of Hogansville, Georgia, where he began working at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home when he was sixteen years old. Joseph is a 2002 graduate of Callaway High School and a 2004 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Joseph’s desire is to offer his years of training, service and professionalism to his community by going above and beyond the expectations of a funeral home. He believes that a funeral home is much more than a business, it is also a place of Ministry. Joseph and his family are residents of Leesburg where he also owns Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. He is a member of Life Church of Leesburg and is a member of The Georgia Funeral Directors Association. Joseph is married to Leigh Collins Jones who also serves as a fuenral director and embalmer at both of their locations.  Joseph has four beautiful children that he is very proud of, Natalie A. Jones, Joseph W. Jones, Jr., Watson Crew Jones, and one baby angel in Heaven, Collins Cecelia Jones (February 25, 2020).

Leigh Collins Jones Funeral Director/Embalmer

Leigh is a native of Warner Robins, Georgia and a 2011 graduate of Warner Robins High School. After high school, she attended Georgia Military College where in 2013, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Pre-Nursing. Shortly after, Leigh realized nursing wasn’t for her and decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a licensed funeral director and embalmer. In 2014 she began her career as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. She graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2015 with her degree in funeral services and later went to work full time as a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Leigh is the wife of Joseph W. Jones and together they are honored to serve their communities through funeral service. She is the mother of Watson Crew Jones born on January 19, 2021 and a baby girl, Collins Cecelia Jones that is in Heaven (February 25, 2020). She is also the loving bonus mom to Natalie A. Jones that lives with them and Joseph W. (Joe) Jones, Jr. In her free time, Leigh enjoys trips to the beach, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. Leigh truly feels that the funeral industry is a ministry. She is passionate about her work and feels blessed to be able to serve the families of our community in their time of need.

Rev. Robin Chaplin Office Manager

Reverend W. Robin Chaplin serves the funeral home as our office manager,  pre-need counselor and is a funeral director/embalmer apprentice. He has lived in Albany since 2001 and is the Pastor of Victory Baptist Church. He graduated from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College of Greenville, South Carolina in 1988 and he is a licensed Insurance Agent in the State of Georgia. He is married to his high school sweetheart Shirley and they have three children and four grandchildren.

B. Luke Cooper Funeral Director / Embalmer Apprentice

Brian "Luke" Cooper is a native of Sylvester-Worth County where he attended Worh County Comprehensive High School. In his years of high school, he hed many positions with Georgia Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). In 2018 he was elected FBLA Region President and held the national title for the Client Services Competition. During his year of office he conducted educational programs and competitive events that enriched the business education experience for students. Luke currently attends Ogeechee Technical College pursuing a degree in Mortuary Science and has plans to graduate in 2023. Luke is a member of Unity Baptist Church where his grandfather, Rev. Craig Barnette of Turner County, was the Senior Pastor. Luke loves the Lord and loves to minister to others through this profession.

Brad White Funeral Assistant

Brad White is a native of Sylvester, Georgia and a graduate of Worth County High School. He resides in Leesburg with his wife Sara White and together they have 3 children; Sean, Chloe, and Jace. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing. Brad is a talented handy man with a servant's heart and we are proud to have him at both our Albany and Leesburg locations.

Mrs. Karen D. Roberts Funeral & Visitation Assistant

Mrs. Karen D. Roberts is retired from the Worth County Board of Education where she served as a Receptionist for twenty-two years. Mrs. Roberts was born in Cordele, GA and currently resides in Sylvester-Worth County. She and her husband Mike Roberts, Sr. have been married for 54 years. Mrs. Roberts also loves spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Roberts is dedicated to helping our families here at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.

Matt Harrell Funeral Assistant

Matt Harrell works full time with Procter and Gamble of Albany and works part time with us here at the funeral home when available. He is an ordained minister and enjoys preaching God's word and traveling with his daughter, Mandy who sings southern gospel music. He is married to Elaine Johnson Harrell, has three children, Mandy, Lindsey and Ryan. His family attends First Freewill Baptist Church in Albany. He has two grandchildren that he is very proud of.

Dave Aumsbaugh Funeral & Visitation Assistant

A native of Kendallville, IN., Dave moved to Albany in 1973 and worked with Proctor and Gamble for twenty years. He proudly served our country in the Navy. In his spare time he enjoys looking at antique automobiles and working in his yard. He  is married to Brenda and  has four sons and two daughters. His family attends True Life Church of God of Leesburg.
