Joseph is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Georgia. He is a native of Hogansville, Georgia, where he began working at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home when he was sixteen years old. Joseph is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Joseph’s desire is to offer his years of training, service and professionalism to his community by going above and beyond the expectations of a funeral home. He believes that a funeral home is much more than a business, it is also a place of Ministry. He is a resident of Leesburg where he also owns Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. He is a member of The Georgia Funeral Directors Association and is a board member of the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. Joseph has two beautiful children that he is very proud of, Natalie A. Jones and Joseph W. Jones, Jr.

Rev. Robin Chaplin, Office Manager

Reverend W. Robin Chaplin serves the funeral home as our office manager,  pre-need counselor and is a funeral director/embalmer apprentice. He has lived in Albany since 2001 and is the Pastor of Victory Baptist Church. He graduated from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College of Greenville, South Carolina in 1988 and he is a licensed Insurance Agent in the State of Georgia. He is married to his high school sweetheart Shirley and they have three children and four grandchildren.

Robert Smith , Funeral Director/Embalmer

Robert serves Hall and Hall Funeral Home and our families as the funeral director and embalmer in full and continuous charge. He has worked in funeral service since he was 16 years of age. He graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2006 with a degree in funeral service and considers this his calling in life. He is married to Gina and in his free time he enjoys spending time with her and their children.

Matt Harrell works full time with Procter and Gamble of Albany and works part time with us here at the funeral home when available. He is an ordained minister and enjoys preaching God's word and traveling with his daughter, Mandy who sings southern gospel music. He is married to Elaine Johnson Harrell, has three children, Mandy, Lindsey and Ryan. His family attends First Freewill Baptist Church in Albany. He has two grandchildren that he is very proud of.

Greg and Charlene Sawyer, Funeral and Visitation Staff

Greg and Charlene Sawyer work together to care for our families during visitations and Greg works many of our funerals. They are members of Liberty Parkway Church of God and they have one daughter, Christina.

Mrs. Deane Denby

Mrs. Deane Denby is the widow of William P. Denby and has worked at the funeral home for many years. She has lived in Albany since 1949. She is a graduate of Moultrie High School and Business School. Mrs. Dean worked with the Dougherty County Probate Court for 27 years and retired as acting probate judge. She is a member of Salem Baptist Church in Worth County and is a past president of the Southwest Georgia Exchange Club. She has one daughter, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Lynn Denby Harris passed away on May 15, 2011 at the age of 57. Through the loss of a husband and her daughter, Mrs. Deane still remains strong as she cares for our families here at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.

Sharon Pressley works visitations here at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.  She is a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Mitchell County. She is the wife of William “Bill” E. Pressley, retired Marine of over 30 years. She has two children; two step-children; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and working with flowers.

A native of Kendallville, IN., Dave moved to Albany in 1973 and worked with Proctor and Gamble for twenty years. He proudly served our country in the Navy. In his spare time he enjoys looking at antique automobiles and working in his yard. He  is married to Brenda and  has four sons and two daughters. His family attends True Life Church of God of Leesburg.
